The Makita JS3201J single speed shear is fitted with a 710w motor and has a whopping 3.2mm cutting capacity in mild steel and 2.5mm in stainless steel. Weighing a mere 3.4kg, the Makita JS3201J is fitted with a rubberised grip, quite similar to that of a jigsaw allowing the user greater control when cutting.
The cutting blade is in a shape of a square offering 4 cutting edges and can easily be rotated when blunt offering the user a quick tool down time. With its minimum cutting radius of 50mm, the Makita JS3201J is also suitable for cutting circles and curved apertures.
